Friend MTS Continues Its Rapid Global Expansion With Three New Senior Appointments

LONDON, UK – June 19, 2023 – Friend MTS, provider of video security solutions to the biggest names in live and on-demand sports and entertainment, has announced the continued expansion of its sales team, with three senior hires. Sam Bahun, VP of Sales North America, Giles Wain, VP of Sales EMEA, and Mark Hollett, New Business Sales Director EMEA will help drive new commercial partnerships in their respective regions, and further enhance Friend MTS’s position as the number one provider of post-distribution content security solutions to content owners, broadcasters and OTT service providers.

Sam brings 20 years’ experience in the content protection and copyright enforcement space with a deep understanding of the technologies used to illegally distribute content. His extensive experience of technical and business roles in the content protection space comes from a career that includes consultative training positions for some of the largest law enforcement agencies, as well as providing direct support on several of the largest litigation cases over the last 15 years.

Giles joins Friend MTS as the latest step in a career comprising over 20 years’ experience in the video technology industry. He has held various sales leadership roles at global and EMEA level across new business sales, sales specialists and account management positions. His impressive insight into the industry has helped Giles lead EMEA teams selling services including security, OTT platforms, analytics, and more.

Mark brings over 15 years’ experience in the media and entertainment technology space. His previous positions at senior level in sales, partnership and business development include roles at Roku and Tivo, during which he built a reputation for opening new markets and deploying new and innovative technological solutions which allow partners to grow their business, build customer loyalty, and reduce cost.
