LONDON, UK – 17 November 2022 – Friend MTS, leading global provider of content protection services, has announced the appointments of Robin Boldon, Director of Strategic Account Management and Lisa Taylor, Head of People and Development, to join the company on its mission to reduce the impact of piracy globally.
Robin has delivered strategic content protection programmes for some of the world’s largest and most well-known rights owners in the industry. His achievements include leading a Guinness World Record-winning project for Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary, distributing the feature-length TV episode to over 90 territories, in 22 languages, with an additional 3D theatrical release.
“My role is to develop the strategic account programme so that clients get the most value from our products and services, as well as benefit from our unique industry insight,” says Robin. “Having observed the growth and success of Friend MTS from an external perspective, it is particularly exciting to join at this key moment for the company to help shape our future strategic direction, driving forward the next generation of products and services and helping to maintain our market leading position.”
Lisa has over 15 years’ experience in people, development and culture, working in a variety of sectors such as brands, media, communications, simulation technology and more recently, financial services. Along with achieving her coaching accreditation, her passion for HR stems from creating opportunities and initiatives that support and positively impact people, both operationally and strategically.
“As the company grows, even deeper investment into employee experience is more important than ever, and we’re continuing to develop a People Strategy that aligns closely with company values and culture, enabling us to support our business ambitions and growth,” says Lisa. “Playing a part in developing an exciting future for Friend MTS, and further refining structure and visibility around people processes and opportunities, provides me with an opportunity to do some exciting work – I’m pleased to be getting started.”
“Our employees are the most critical role in shaping the future of the company, and our work combating the global impact of piracy, and Robin and Lisa have been brought into the team to help us on that journey,” says Jonathan Friend at Friend MTS. “Both appointments bring a breadth of invaluable expertise to their respective departments and we’re thrilled to have them on board to help us achieve our overarching goal – for people and organisations to express themselves online safely without the threat of piracy.”
